Essential Yoga Doula’s mentorship course is the missing component in launching or jumpstarting a successful doula business.  Let’s face it, most of the doula training programs that are out there are a weekend course the online equivalent.  And while they provide you with amazing information – they can only really fit in the basic nuts and bolts of doula work.  Doula certification programs often fall short in supporting you to thrive in this business because there just is not enough time!  Ann Carroll started as a birth doula and was in just that situation.  She learned the hard way through trial and error and wants to share all that she’s learned with you so that your business can thrive and become whatever you want it to be.  Her mission is to have more doulas in the world, to reduce the number of doulas who train and never get the traction to get started or struggle for so long that they burn out.  Your unique skills are needed in the doula world!

Mentor Program Membership Levels

Online Learning

EYD’s Mentorship program is online and self-paced.  Once the program launches, the modules roll out weekly.  It’s a self-paced program, so modules are there for you as soon as you are ready for them.  There’s a live Q&A call monthly and if you are not able to attend, you can send in questions in advance and watch a recorded version.  One-on-one mentoring with Ann is also available to review current clients and how to best support them; post birth de-brief sessions; business strategy sessions; and personalized business support sessions.

 Prerequisites:

• Completion of a Birth Doula Training Workshop

  (completion of births is not required.)

• An interest in creating an empowering, calm and non-judgmental birth environment.

• A desire to thrive as a birth-worker promoting gentle birth practices and informed choices.

• An interest in actively seeking clients.

Coursework Modules

The course is divided into Eight Modules: Getting Started with Admin; Your Offerings; Marketing Measures; Comfort Measures, At the Birth; After Birth; Best Practices – Future Plans.  Each of these modules includes an average of 7 short (5-10 min) videos on various topics.  For a full list of segments click below.
